ABOUT ME

I really enjoy meeting people and seeing the possibilities that come from networking. I am not afraid to pick up and try something new. I grew up in Maine, went to Prescott College in Arizona, lived in Olympia, tour managed a band for several years, and most recently lived in DC. I like running, cooking, hiking, tennis, gardening, and lots of other things.

PHILOSOPHY

I believe that you can create the life that you want - and that nothing really holds us back other than ourselves. I like to push myself beyond what I know and understand - to try new things, to learn and grow. I am working on being less controlling and just letting things happen as they are meant to.

For right now I am using this site to find places to stay, and really look forward to being able to host people soon.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I am new to Couch Surfing in the official sense, but when traveling for several years with a band, we essentially couch surfed many nights a week to save money. I was blown away by the generosity of perfect strangers all over the country, and beyond. It gave me a renewed sense of faith in people and their ability to love and share.

My Cousin Vinny is my favorite movie. Music - I enjoy a wide range of styles. Lately I have been reading books on health and nutrition, but I enjoy reading novels when I have time.

I hiked to the bottom of the Grand Canyon and spent the night with my mom, aunt and mom's friend from college in April. Amazing.
