About Me
CURRENT MISSION
Reinventing myself (with your help!!!)
ABOUT ME
I'm a musician (guitar, also bass some years ago), music producer and recording-mixing engineer. I own a music recording studio and play in several bands.
I must admit I'm not the funniest guy on earth (which doesn't mean I'm an angry or too-serious person at all). Let's just put it as my mood is quiet and thoughtful most of the time. I have leadership skills but I'm using them all the time on my day job, so I prefer stepping aside when out of work. I can provide smart conversation though ;)
I really like being helpful to other people. That's what my job is about, in the end, but I like to keep that perspective in every aspect of my life.
I'm a strong-principles guy and have my own radical points of view about people and society, but at the same time I'm absolutelly tolerant, I don't even think of asking anyone to play by my rules (except in my own house, of course). Live and let live! Rude, unrespectful, aggressive or selfish people make me sad, so does injustice or unfairness.
PHILOSOPHY
Life's simple, let's make it complicated so we can have some fun.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
For now, "only" hosting in my appartment in Barcelona. I'm travelling to South America on 2013 and hope to know nice CS's who are willing to share their space with me.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
Hosted many people in a short time, Barcelona seems to be a popular destination. It's sad when I can't spend time with people staying at my place. Every experience had something positive, some of them were great!
Interests
I'm a sort of workaholic, but lately I'm not enjoying my job that much (I think I finally need a break). Anyway I keep spending most of my time on professional duties. Mine it's a nice job which keeps you busy all the time (because I like it and because one doesn't earn much money considering the time involved).
I'm getting into photography as a way to focus into something not music-related. I think I'm liking it so far, it's nice doing something just for the sake of doing it, without expecting any other reward than enjoying yourself.
I like hanging out with my friends, enjoying a beer and talking about art, politics and men/women.
I love alternative cinema (european films, cult-directors, documentaries...) and beat-generation literature (among other kinds, of course, but I think this particular one is relevant to my personality).
