ABOUT ME

I'm Mike and I love films, music, exploring, driving, and writing. I studied film in college and I think I want to go into film production. Either documentaries or independent stuff...Hollywood isn't for me. I also did a lot of event and concert planning in school, so I'm interested in that as well. I love live music, concerts, and music festivals and that's where most of my disposable income ends up.

I'm open-minded and willing to give anything a chance...this goes for music, movies, food, whatever.

I'm not vegetarian, but I care about animals and the environment. I'm pretty liberal, but politics don't really interest me. I respect all opinions!

it's cliche, but treat others as you would like to be treated. hypocrisy really bugs me.

Interests

Some of my favorite bands are the White Stripes, Muse, Vampire Weekend, Interpol, Spoon, The Black Keys, Yeah Yeah Yeahs, Mates of State, Ted Leo. There are so many more but I don't want to bore you.

I like documentaries and films by David Fincher. Hollywood blockbusters don't excite me, unless they're done really well (think Iron Man). I have a secret penchant for experimental and avant-garde film as well.
