ABOUT ME

Just a regular 23-years-old girl who enjoys travelling, meeting new people, getting to know foreign culture and cuisine. I tend to do things last minute but I also appreciate meticulous planning - one of my many contradictions! I love cooking, especially trying out new recipes or making them up myself. I'm still learning how to blend different spices tho! You can't say I'm a nature freak as I spend most of my life in the city but I will take every opportunity to go hiking, have a picnic in the middle of nowhere or just take a walk in the park. Unfortunately, this doesn't happen too often.
I'm rather a cheerful, always smiling, open-minded person. I try to live my life to its fullest.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Although I have been a CS member for 5 years I have little experience either surfing or hosting! But I am on a verge of changing that. My very first time meeting a couchsurfer was way before I joined this community - my brother and I picked up a French guy from the bus stop and showed him the appartment he was going to stay in. It was an appartment of my brother's host from a couple of years back (yes, they stayed in touch for years! That's the proof that CS helps making life-lasting friendships! :)

I've always admired the purpose of couchsurfing for its many ways of bringing people closer together - often people of different cultures, speaking different languages, with different beliefs. I'm still trying to wrap my head around that!

Interesses

One of my many life goals is being fluent in Spanish, Russian, French, German and Finnish :)

I love doing any kind of sport. Lately I've taken up running, sometimes I happen to play tennis. I believe that swimming is one of the best way to relax. I also enjoy team sports - basketball, volleyball and football - both soccer and american football. However, I've never played the later!

I don't have any particular taste in any of the above.

I am a huge fan of movies starring Edward Norton and Almodovar's movies. I also like those with fast cars & guns - not much of a girly thing to say!
