ABOUT ME

Originally from SF Bay Area, I have lived in LA (undergrad) and DC (grad) and am now living in ABQ for my PhD (so many acronyms).

I'm hearing, but am fluent in ASL and would be more than happy to host any Deaf travelers, and LGBT family is always welcome, too. If you're not either of those, my door is still open! :-)

I love meeting new people and learning about their experiences! I look forward to meeting and hosting you!

Language and linguistics, traveling, movies, and books! Mostly vague, but I'm really interested in many things. The things I don't do myself or am not involved in, I usually like discussing and learning about anyway.

Driven across the US three times (35/50 states and DC, so far).

Studied for a month in Siena to learn Italian, LIS, and Italian Deaf Culture and met amazing people; met my family in Calabria (in Marcellina e Verbicaro).
