ABOUT ME

When I was in high school I travel to Japan for one year as an exchange student in Japanese host families, and that was the best experience ever !

I already went abroad before, but that was a very different experience. When traveling as a tourist, you go to touristic places, sleep in hotels, even if you see a lot of the country I think you can never grasp its culture and really understant it.
But when you stay with local people, you can really share and learn a lot about the country, and sometimes even about your own country by seeing through foreigner's eyes.
More than visiting a country, I like living in a country. I lived one year and a half in Korea too, and find my husband there.

I'm too old now to be an exchange student and home staying in a family, but I want to get a similar experience through couchsurfing.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have only one experience as a surfer and one as a host, and both were great ! I lived in a very remoted area before so I didn't get the chance to host often, but now that I live in a bigger town I hope to meet many surfers !

兴趣

I like going out (with my friend to to meet new people) and have a drink talk a lot even if I'm a bit shy at first.
I like movies, especially funny ones, and reading comics and novels. I like sports too (except running), even I'm not very good at it, but actually I enjoy all kind of things as long as I do it with friends ^^
I am also very fond of mediaval culture, I enjoy visiting castles, goint to medieval festival and I go tobalfolk everytime I get the chance !

I read many Japanese books recently, especially those from Higashino Keigo.
But I love dystopia, my classical being 1984 and Brave new world.
