About Me
Hi there. My name is Mahbubul Mazumder. I live in New Delhi, which is the capital city of India. I'm 22 years old. I studied German language and literature in my BA and currently pursuing an MA in international relations and area studies from JMI, New Delhi. I love meeting new people and make friends with them. I have immense zeal in learning about new places and languages. I am fluent in English, Bengali, Hindi, German, Persian and Urdu. I have travelled extensively all over India and also been to Russia, Nepal and Bangladesh.
I have plans to go for moe trips abroad and explore. I hope Couchsurfing would be a great help and experience for me in that venture. I'm ready to host Couchsurfing-counterparts from different parts of the world. Looking forward to meeting some nice people. Thank you 👍

Music, Movies, and Books
I have great admiration for country and folk musics from all over the world.
I love watching history, survival and war movies. One can learn a great deal about events and stuffs by watching movies and visualization.
I do not read books as such. When I do, I read travelogues, short stories. Ruskin Bond, Ernest Hemingway, Gabriel Garcia Marquez, Humayun Ahmed, Bertolt Brecht, ETA Hoffmann are some of my favorite writers.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
White water rafting that I did in Rishikesh on the river Ganges was truly amazing. The excitement throughout is indescribable. I would always want to go back and have the same experience again.
Teach, Learn, Share
I would love to teach the languages I know and can also some basics about political Geography, Indian cuisine, culture and traditions.
I would be learning a lot. Meeting with new people from different backgrounds and places would itself be great learning experience. I would want to learn some new languages and facts about different cultures which would helpe broaden the horizon of my knowledge.
What I Can Share with Hosts
