I really enjoy meeting new people and believe the best way to get to know a place is by talking with locals, and by having more authentic experiences. I'm really looking forward to meeting interesting and like-minded people and learning about the places I'm visiting :)

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I grew up on two nature reserve islands off the coast of New Zealand with only 4 other people!

Me and three friends did a 10-day off-track hike on Rakiura Stewart Island NZ, camping in tents, route-finding and bashing through the bush!

I lived and studied in Brazil for 6.5 months at the start of the year and it was one of the coolest experiences of my life. I met the most amazing people, hiked, climbed, danced, learnt some Portuguese, camped in the Amazon and grew to deeply love the country, culture and people

I'm super passionate about conservation, plant and animal facts, sociology, feminism, gender studies, politics and love sharing knowledge and stories :)

I can tell you about the history, politics and way of life in New Zealand and what it was like growing up on island nature reserves. I can show you how to knit or sew, and I always love practicing German and my (limited) Portuguese
