ABOUT ME

We're sisters!

Chloe: currently undertaking a PhD in marine biology (kind of) by distance & living in Adelaide. Main procrastinations are gardening, playing with pet rats, hula hooping, cooking eating drinking dancing reading.

Phoebe: currently munting around in Adelaide working as a bicycle educator/mechanic. Obsessions are bike riding/fixing/building/touring, reading and writing a variety of things, experimental cooking, experimental ukulele-ing, exploring in the woods, dancing like a really big tool.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

We see couchsurfing as an exchange and try to give something back to every person who so generously shares their space and their time with us.

This is the first time I (Phoebe) have been in a position to host surfers, and I'm very excited to give back to the community that's been so generous to me.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

We share this profile because we love travelling and having adventures together! We've couchsurfed as a duo across Canada and in Hawaii.

We do use the profile individually sometimes. Phoebe has couchsurfed with a crew of cyclists in California, and Chloe and her boyfriend Brad surfed in the states too (find his profile -- bradharkin).

We are consistently overwhelmed by the welcoming and kick-arse people we meet through the couchsurfing community. It truly is the best way to travel!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Catching a train into the Rockies in winter was pretty spectacular. We also took a sister scuba diving trip to the Great Barrier Reef in Australia a couple of summers ago.

Teach, Learn, Share

Phoebe can practice French with people, or help you fix your bike. Chloe's getting into yoga and loves to exchange tips/positions. We can tell you all kinds of wacky information about biology and sea creatures.
