My name is Mahmoud, I am 28 years old from Cairo,Egypt. I am a Mechanical Engineer and currently working as a Teaching Assistant in Carleton University in Ottawa, Canada. Traveling is my top interest in life, I even love traveling more than my field :). I like meeting people and making friends from all over the world, hanging out and exchanging cultures and food. I do love exploring cities and doing activities as much as I can and I would prefer to do so in group or with somebody who likes the same thing. My travel history is a bit extensive within the last 4 years. I have been to Europe (Paris, Rome, Venice, Florence, Budapest, Bratislava, Vienna, Brussels, Athens, Barcelona, Madrid, Amsterdam, Prague) and USA (Houston, Dallas, Austin, San Antonio, College Station, Washington DC.), Dubai, Thailand, Singapore and finally Canada.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Couch surfing for me is an intelligent idea of letting people meet and gather from all over the world in a convenient way. People from different cultures and with various backgrounds interact closely with each other for a specific period and in many ways like eating together, hanging out, doing activities, sharing exciting stories and making wider and divers circle of friendship. It is a way of helping backpackers and travelers to explore and visit the world a way easier and funnier.
