Overview
About Me
I'm Homare. I'm a true Istanbulite, born and raised. :) In the most cliché way imaginable, I genuinely enjoy meeting new people and exploring new places, foods, and many more.
Rather than spending my entire time in a hotel room when visiting a place, I prefer staying in a welcoming home where I can feel the essence of the visited location through the hospitality of an open-hearted host. That's why I'm on #Couchsurfing.
I can't call myself a #polyglot just yet, but learning new languages is a passion of mine. In fact, it's a fundamental motivation for my travels—to contribute to my language-learning journey by experiencing cultures.
I love animals. If you have a pet, please allow me to pet them a bit. :) Otherwise, I might have trouble falling asleep at night.
Thank you in advance for hosting me.

Music, Movies, and Books
90s Turkish Pop, Japanese City Pop, Techno (occasionally), and recently discovering Persian Essentials including Homayra and Hayedeh :)
Not a movie fan at all, buuut:
If you're watching One Piece, we could have a lot to share in common. ^__^
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
All the travels I've embarked on, the languages I've learned, the cultures I've tried to understand, the breathtaking views I've enjoyed, the delicious meals I've tasted – have been amazing for me.
Teach, Learn, Share
If you're interested, I can share everything I know about Turkish or Japanese in either language.
I have no hesitation in helping with #cleaning during my stays – in fact, I enjoy it. :) Please don't hesitate to ask for assistance in this regard.
However, I'm not particularly skilled in cooking, except for a few Turkish dishes. Nevertheless, I have a hearty appetite and make excellent company during meals and drinks. :)
What I Can Share with Hosts
Feel free to ask for anything specific, especially if it's something unique to Istanbul and its surroundings. If you don't have a particular request, leave it to me. :) I'll arrange something.
