I am a graduate student, studying social work in NY, and I am originally from Tokyo.
I am blessed to have met so many wonderful people and culture in New York.

I am currently back in Japan for a month and I I'd like to use this month to explore my own culture!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I was originally introduced to Couchsurfing by my friend. I have hosted many couchsurfers in the past, and I really enjoy the whole new atmosphere couchsurfers bring to my apartment when they stay with me. I have hosted people as well as stayed with couchsurfers, and it has been a very pleasant time getting to know people from all over the world.

Interests

I like 60s and 70s soul music. I enjoy learning languages, and I LOVE animals. I enjoy trying food from all over the world, and I love sun bathing and relaxing. AND I love dancing salsa!

Music, Movies, and Books

I enjoy the wide range of music, but especially I love 60s and 70s music!! I also like Latin music a lot.
The movies I like are "Lolita" "Seven" "V for vendetta" "Indiana Jones and the Temple of Doom" "Forrest Gump," and "Pulp Fiction".

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I climbed Macchu Picchu this summer, and it was amazing!
