Overview
About Me
CURRENT MISSION
To open to each moment and live my life overflowing with joy, compassion, and integrity.
ABOUT ME
I like to talk almost as much as I like to listen. I would like someday to be able to photosynthesize. I am a shy extrovert, a creator, a nerd. Some of my favorite things are growing food, dancing with wild abandon, mountains, drinking tea, climbing trees, swimming in wild water, chocolate, and laughing until it hurts.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
To meet inspiring people and travel like a local.
Interests
Plants are awfully neat...I like to learn all of their names and gather medicine and food from wherever I happen to be. I like making things, crocheting clothes and welding sculptures and whatnot. Gamelan makes me swoon. So does playing cello. I'm a mountain girl and love traipsing around in alpine meadows, but being tossed and churned by the ocean is my favorite too. I live to dance.

Teach, Learn, Share
I am interested in ancestral arts and am currently focusing on tanning hides. I know a fair amount about homesteading and food production, from gardening to butchering to preserving food. I have a degree in botany so I love geeking out about plants. As a massage therapist, body alignment and physical health is super important and interesting to me.
What I Can Share with Hosts
I have lived a lot in community and thus am considerate, tidy, and helpful as well as handy with many tools and effective at problem solving. I have focused on developing good communication skills throughout my life and am told I am a great story teller. I am an excellent cook. And I may be convinced to give body work too!
