I'm a queer carpenter/househusband currently trying to learn how to incorporate travel and adventure back into my life while also having a full garden and flock of chickens...The urge to settle these past few years certainly got me good, but I'm looking to reacquaint myself with the thrill of being in new places and meeting new people. I can be quiet and independent at times, but I also love getting to know new people and places, and making new connections.

I'm a great believer of barter and gift culture, and shared housing makes a lot of sense to me, both as a resource and as a catalyst for community building. As a host I want to share the privilege of having a cosy safe place to sleep, and as a traveler i want to get to know actual people who live where I'm traveling, not just curated experiences that cost a fortune.
