Travel South America on the remaining budget I have... wander with a purpose, meet new people, spread the love and light of happiness and do plenty of Yoga.

ABOUT ME

I have always been a teacher, though not always professionally. I love working with kids, especially kids in need--disabled, orphaned, underprivileged, etc. I have lived in the USA most of my life, except for a few months in Seville, Spain, and now almost a year of traveling. I lived and worked in Cusco, Peru for 8 months where I was the director and coordinator of a non-profit after-school program for kids age 4 through 12. Now I am in Lima, but will soon be on my way to Mancora and after that to Ecuador to live and work on a ranch. I love animals and nature; I can never stay in the city too long. I love to read and write, and I dabble in artistry. I can be on my own in huge room full of people, or have a dance party with just a few people... I bring the fun when I need it and can be independent wherever I want! I am happy, outgoing, positive and flexible to anything.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I would be happy to meet people in any place, and would love to surf on couches when possible. I do no currently have a home, but when I do I am open to being a host!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have so far only ever heard of Couch Surfing experiences from others, but I look forward to participating.

Music, Movies, and Books

Anything I can dance to for music or anything I can sing along to... I like all kinds of books especially sci-fi/fantasy, biographies, and travel stories.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Currently the best adventure I have had was in the jungle of Peru in the Tambopata Reserve outside Puerto Maldonado. It was simply beautiful and very invigorating... I felt very connected to nature at this time.

Teach, Learn, Share

I have a lot of experience with volunteering and organizing volunteers in a non-profit organization. I am a creative pre-school/youth teacher, and I have lots of art and craft ideas.
