Hi there! Nice to meet you, my name is Maija, I am a visual artist .
I used to travel a lot with my boyfriend and that`s how I found the community of couchsurfing. I`m not traveling as much anymore, but still eager to get to know new people and widen my horizons.

I grew up in a beautiful national park of forests in a small town in Latvia. Almost 6 years ago my travels brought me to the Netherlands and it`s been so great here, that I`ve mostly lived here since. Currently I`m living in a cozy country side village, working half time in a BedAndBreakfast on a historical Dutch ship, spending a lot of time outdoors and in my art studio, putting together my passions for visual art and nature.

To meet great new people when I`m out and about again, learn new things about the world and myself in it.
