ABOUT ME

I followed my husband across the world and we are currently in San Francisco. This is a beautiful city with so many things to see and do! I am an engineer, but not really doing any engineering stuff at the moment.. Later!

I was born in Finland and grew up in a small town with my four siblings. They have taught me to enjoy being surrounded by people, and to share with others. I studied in the city of Tampere in Finland and graduated quite recently. Now my future is open, which means it's full of possibilities!

I'm a positively loaded person. I try to look at the best side of things and to share that also with others. My goal is to try to feel at home where ever I am. That involves getting to know people, and simply concentrating on the good things in every place rather than thinking about what is missing.

I have many passions in my life, and I often feel like I don't have enough time to do everything I'd love to. I'm a very curious and active person, and I always have many more things on the list I really want to try soon!

I think life is too short for being miserable about something you don't have. We should rather try to find the good in what we have in our lives at the moment, and enjoy it.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

By hosting when I have the possibility, and by attending the local events every now and then. I wish to also surf some couches on my upcoming travels, but haven't unfortunately done that yet!

Travelling and languages, dancing (especially salsa and brasilian samba), rock climbing, swimming, running, surfing, scuba diving, hiking, skiing, snow boarding, cooking, wines, playing violin, improv (doing and watching), theatre, and drawing, to mention some of the things that have occupied the top of my list of interests recently.
