I am Maike and almost 25 years old. I finished my studies in psychology and want to become a psychotherapist soon. I like my work in clinical psychology but also my free time is very precious to me. As a hobby, I am working as teacher for tango argentino and love dancing it and other dances like lindy hop too. I also love to play the piano, going running, being in nature and meeting friends and new people.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Getting to know other people and cultures is very important to me too. This is why I want to travel a lot meeting new people, but also hosting travelers at my place. I appreciate sharing experiences, knowledge and ideas about a place or country I have never been to, but also offering my expertise about my home country.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I have been to Australia and New Zealand for one year of volunteering in a disabled community. This experience broadened my horizon a lot and gave me an idea about why I want to travel a lot, and why I want to be welcoming to other people.
