I’m Maike. I am a very open minded person and like to spend time with other people. Travelling has become one of my favourite interests as I love to discover our world. Sharing cultural experiences is very important for our generation as it permits us to create a tolerant and to connected world.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I like the concept of Couchsurfing very much. Visiting other countries and cities is completely different if you get some tips and advices from locals. I also like meeting new people and to exchange our experiences. All the experiences I made with Couchsurfing were very positive.

Interests

I like spending time in nature, go hiking and discovering new places. Additionally I like it to spend time with friends and to meet other people.

Music, Movies, and Books

I love reading books of Noah Gordon and Ken Follet. Cool Runnings is one of my favourite films and I like comedies but I also enjoy watching documentaries and romances.
I can’t imagine a live without music and am playing cello, piano, the flute and ukulele. I enjoy playing together with other people and think it’s always a lot of fun. Some of my favourite bands are “Zigaretts after sex”, “Cold Play” and “Walk of the earth”, but in generally I do often hear different kinds of music, it really depends on my mood.

I can share cultural experiences as well as tips what to see or do in Rottweil. One of my passions is to cook or to bake all kind of stuff and I like it to cook dishes from all around the world.

What I Can Share with Hosts

As I am a big fan of cooking and discovering new dishes from different cultures, we could cook something together and spend some interesting time together. I do also like playing board games and could spend hours playing them.
