Hi guys! I am Maiko Ikeda, a 20-year-old majoring Psychology in the university. Usually, I live in Osaka, Japan though currently, I live in Murray, a small town in the U.S. to study my major. I love traveling, eating, listing music(especially any kind of POP music), clubbing lol
I traveled over 30 countries so far, I love to explore the world without having any prejudice (at least I've tried to do so.) I have a big break during this winter in December, so I really wanna travel over Mexico. Also, the next destination in May & June will be Europe!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Cause I love meeting new people. Being taught local culture by local people is the best thing to travel. I love to eat, going to a morning market and just breathing fresh morning is my favorite thing to do. but also, I love clubbing so I am looking for someone who can go to a nightclub with me lol
Cooking is also a part of my life, so if you like any kinds of Japanese food, We absolutely can Sushi Party !!!♡♡Also, if you are that kind of person, like to explore the city, eat, have fun in the nightlife, it would be super AWESOME!!!

Music, Movies, and Books

Any pop music, I think I know most of the English songs. I especially like Ariana Grande since she has been my angel ever since I was a kid. Going to her concert is my near future plan !♡ Sine I love to join a music festival I love to listen EDM as well.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Being in Ibiza for 2 weeks last summer! lol It was absolutely stunning. I love to being surrounded by beautiful ocean, food, people, so it was a perfect place for me. ♡

Teach, Learn, Share

　I love to learn another perspective way of thinking, including history, identity, and political staff. Since I've grown up quite conservative countries, I have been trying to be open-minded and listen to as many different opinions as possible.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I've been learning about all things related to social psychology, such as self-esteem, pride, prejudice, and self-defense etc... so if anyone interested in those kinds of staff, I am always discussed about them. Also, since I am Japanese, the history especially during and after World War2 is so important.
