About Me

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Walking several days with 1 tin of canned food for two, and at the end no water, in the narrow and deep funnels carved in the limestone mass by wind and water through, creeping our way in constant fear of a sudden flashflood that would catch us in a straight with unclimbable walls on each side. We finally reached the Golden Arch by the Lake Powell, where a ranger tried to engage conversation. We ducked off as we had no license by the Indian bureau -

I have also crossed the Sahara up and down with a 2 CV that was a dog pen when we bought it. The car frame broke soon after we entered the desert. We fixed it with pieces of metal from a wreck nearby, ropes, and even a neolithic stone grinder. We made it back to France and won our challenge !
