Why I’m on Couchsurfing

It started when I volunteered in AFS, located in Egypt. It has always been interesting to host people from different cultures, learn about their cultures and teach them our own.

Interests

I'm interested in literature and art. I love reading novels, stories, short stories, poetry or whatever I can get.
I like to get to know new people, cultures and perspectives.
I'm eager to learn about anything and everything.

Music, Movies, and Books

Music: Classical, Jazz, Blues and Rock. I also like French music (Edith Piaf and Dalida are my favorites) and I adore old Arab singers like Om Kolthoum and Fairouz.

Books: I like reading about Sufism, slavery, traumas and old novels from different centuries.
40 Rules of Love by Elif Shafak, Beloved by Toni Morrison and The Color Purple by Alice Walker are by far my favorite.

Movies: Intellectual and Disney movies :D
