[CURRENT MISSION]: Finishing our seasonal work in Norway and ready to hit the road again.

[ABOUT US]: My lovely partner Bruno and I travel by walking, hitchhiking and/or train or buses if we need to cross long distances in a short time. Let’s meet for an adventure!

I’m an art-teacher and Bruno is an illustrator. We also do a lot of hospitality work along the way and sometimes we volunteer with WWOOFING.

Traveling for us is about being open to the unexpected, not making much of a plan and letting life flow as we flow with it. Trying to make every day a surprise, collecting stories and keeping our bags and spirit light.

Travel can be looking at a mirror, trying to transform what’s familiar in exotic, searching for the anthropological-blues as we come back to our home country every now and then and realize it is as exotic as everything else.
As we cross many people that we might not see in person again, we have an opportunity of exercising kindness without expecting nothing in return, a kind of kindness towards the collective, the universe, the flow. In the end is not even a difficult exercise to do since most people are also kind, acting with kindness is nothing more then returning it.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

CS gave us some dear friends, travel buddies, adventures shared, stories to tell, the kindness of strangers, a scape from mass tourism and the opportunity of reattribute all the care that was given to us.

Teach: Portuguese, Brazilian recipes, a card game called "Shit Head" which is kind of like UNO with a sort of surprise round. We also bring checkers, backgammon, Exploding Kittens and we can teach other card games if you like.
Learn: New recipes, games and how to say “lighter” in your language.
