About Me
** I AM BACK ON COUCHSURFING AFTER A PERIOD OF INACTIVITY… HEY HEY :) **
I think and live freely and encourage others to do the same. I appreciate the stillness found within nature and the chaos of a mosh pit equally. I enjoy dancing erratically and meeting new people - especially those I have nothing in common with. I love to explore: minds, souls, nature, ideas, EVERYTHING.
My favourite project right now is my band ‘Motopia’ - we got together last year. Feel free to send a request to “tent surf” at a UK festival over the summer! I’m in fields of music almost every weekend until September and there are lots of beautiful, interesting people for you to meet :)

People call me ‘Mo’ :) I am a Mental Health Support Worker, Caterer and Recovery Dance Coach. Spending time helping others live more fully and accompanying them on the path to contentment feels like time well spent but I have also been considering taking a whole new direction. I am currently seeking inspiration while building on my talents and skills, knowing I am always where I need to be!
I question the narratives that have conditioned us and I appreciate when others do the same. I hope one day the world will unite in peace and equality but it seems we are running low on fairy dust!!!! Let’s, at least, help look after our planet and SPEAK UP for those who cannot 🌎
“To love. To be loved. To never forget your own insignificance. To never get used to the unspeakable violence and the vulgar disparity of life around you. To seek joy in the saddest places. To pursue beauty to its lair. To never simplify what is complicated or complicate what is simple. To respect strength, never power. Above all, to watch. To try and understand. To never look away.”
LOCATION/TRANSPORT:
I live 9 miles from Glasgow city centre, in East Kilbride. There is a bus stop no more than 2 minutes walk from my flat to get you into Glasgow city centre. There is another bus stop in 1 mile that will have you arriving in Glasgow city centre in 37 minutes. Both buses run every 15 minutes. There is also a train station 2.5 miles from my home which will get you there in 30 minutes. I also drive and will help get you around as much as possible!
Music, Movies, and Books
My favourite gigs to date have been Fleetwood Mac and Amyl and the Sniffers. My favourite bands/artists change… I love, see and listen to a lot of music. Modern day pop makes me feel sad for the direction mainstream music is headed. When I don’t know what I’m in the mood to listen to, I listen to The Doors.
Joe Dispenza changed my world!!!!! Graham Hancock is important. I prefer non-fiction however as I write this I am reading The Illuminatus Trilogy by Robert Anton Wilson and Robert Shea.
I don’t watch a lot of movies but I can enjoy anything apart from horrors. I could watch The Imitation Game then Madagascar and be equally satisfied. I could watch Into The Wild on repeat. Christopher Nolan films are cool. I’d love to have dinner with Jim Carrey.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
If we’re kidding, my answer is “sacrificed Haribo.” If we’re serious then it’s “sacrificed Haribo.”
Teach, Learn, Share
I have access to the roof of my flat where I practice yoga, instruments, HIIT, ZUU, meditation and whatever else flows to me - I am always grateful to have people join me! I’m excited to show people Scotland’s beautiful scenery and Glasgow’s nightlife. I enjoy sharing/cooking vegetarian meals and creating any form of art. I would love to learn about as many cultures as possible.
