ABOUT ME

It's really weird to describe myself, but if I have to: open, always ready to try new things, usually a smiling package of good mood, independent, sometimes talk to much, funny in my own way, very tidy, can be really stubborn if I want something or am convinced that I'm right...

PHILOSOPHY

Enjoy life by doing what makes you happy :) People are different, so don't make something that is expected from you, but use your own head and do your own thing! Being different isn't bad, it's exciting.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I surfed a lot and hopefully I could make my hosts happier with my presence. I moved together with my boyfriend (his name is Rene Vollrath, if you want to check out his profile) in January 2013 and I'm still waiting to be a host. I'm working in a hospital since 07/2013 so my surfing-time as on pause, until the right time to travel comes again. And I still have to try the events on couchsurfing :)

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I was traveling alone for almost two months through USA and surfed almost the whole time. It was a wonderful experience, I met some great people and learned a lot about U.S., that a travel guide can't tell you. At first I was a bit skeptical, but it exceeded all my expectations! Now I would like to try the other part of the system - being a host.

兴趣

Playing sports - I used to play basketball for 6 years and handball for 3 years, then I had to quit with serious training, since studying took quite a big part of my free time and I also moved to Ljubljana, so away from my team. Now I'm into running and cycling. Just bought a new snowboard too, so I'm looking forward to testing it (my old one had his fair share).

Going out - I love listening to music and dancing, so going out is a perfect combination of both, whether it's a concert, club or just a pub

Trying out new stuff - I'm a person, who can hardly say no to something new (I've eaten a lot of weird stuff, because I always want to try the local things, I still have to go skydiving, bugee-jumping...)

Travelling (obviously) - I've been to most parts of Europe, but my No. 1 destination that I still have to visit is Japan (in my opinion discovering a competely new culture/habits is the best part of travelling and Japan to me is a terra incognita)

Cooking - I love cooking in a really cool kitchen and learning new recipes (the internet rules, you can find so many good ideas there-and not only for cooking), although I hardly ever stick to the original, but almost always improvise (doesn't end well always)

Meeting new people - I can be quite shy, if I sense that someone doesn't like me or has some restraints, but if you show me your personality I'll give away mine for free :)

音乐、电影和书籍

From indie through rock, electro to classical (so almost everything). I love going to concerts, out dancing to a club, into a bar listening to life music or to the opera/ballet. Just to get a feeling of what I like: Muse, Mando Diao, Beethoven, Mumford and Sons, Foo Fighters, Armin van Buuren, Florence and the Machine, Wise Guys...

I love to read classics (if it is possible in the original language). My favourite writer is Franz Kafka, but on the other hand Harry Potter is also one of my favourite books, so I'm not just a nerd (and it's NOT a childrens book, for those who think it is!)..

Movies: I'm a movie-maniac (spend way to much time by watching them) and like the ones, that have a complicated plot (Fight club, Memento, Seven, Inception). Lately I'm more into cool documentaries (fell in love with Ted Talks, which is not a documentary, I know), especially about medicine, physics and astronomy.

我做过的一件不可思议的事情

Hard to decide, for me my whole life has been amazing, but if I have to choose something: one year Erasmus exchange in Vienna (great life experience, a lot of professional knowledge, great parties, a bunch of new friends, supercool culture, falling in love, european championship soccer... perfect), travelling through USA, participating in an heart transplant (not my own heart :P)

Well, I can teach you CPR (it's quite useful stuff, if you believe it or not!). If you'd like to comunicate with a special group, that has very limited number of members (2 million) I can also teach you some Slovene (one of the most compicated languages, if you ask me):)

It's a different thing, when it comes to learning - there's still a loooot that I have to learn :D That's what's the coolest thing in life, you can always learn something new, if you only want to:)
