I often feel my life is to short to see and to do all I'd like to (but who doesn't feel that way sometimes? :) ). But it doesn't mean I don't have the time just to sit down and have a chat. Actually, I find the time spent on talking with people as the most rewarding, no matter if they are my old friends or random strangers met in the train station. And as long as I have friendly people around me, I'm happy and comfortable almost everywhere and in every conditions.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Even though a stay in a hostel can also be a great social experience and it lets people to make a lot of travel friends but to feel that I am realy getting to know and understand the place I am visiting, I always try to make some contacts with the locals and so far Couchsurfing seems to be the best way to achieve it :)

Interests

Apart from traveling, there are three things without which I couldn't imagine my life: learning languages, hiking and reading. With languages the thing is quite obviosus, as I studied languages at university ;)In every free weekend I go hiking and at least a short hike is the obligatory part of all my journeys. On holidays I love to take a tent and my backpack, leave the civilised world behind and disappear for a longer time in a forest. And free evenings, if I'm not going out, I usually spend with a good book.
Another thing I spend a lot of time on are games: table games, computer games, role playing games... a hidden part of me is a bit of gamer ;)
