ABOUT ME

Hey, my name is Maja. I am living currently in Brno where I just finished my Masters in English language and literature. I am friendly and outgoing. I can be a little bit crazy sometimes :) I have spent one year studying in Australia and I have been backpacking in South-East Asia for 3 months. I spent 3 months in New Orleans which was a great food/cultural experience. I had a great time abroad and I hope more fun is coming my way. I am very talkative, open-minded and I love learning about new cultures and meeting new and interesting people.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Even though I have never hosted a couchsurfer, I worked in an international bar where I met many foreigners and immigrants. I am helping them out as much as possible, translating for them, helping them with czech bureaucracy:), looking for accomodation. I stayed with couchsurfers in Vietnam (Saigon) and Thailand (Koh Samui). Once I settle down and find my own place I will be delighted to host people from around the world!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I am just settling down in Brno, so once I will find a permanent rental I will open my doors to people who would love to come to Brno and a need place to stay.
I have used couchsurfing in Vietnam and Thailand. Both experiences were great. I met awesome people and made friends for life.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Spent one month working on the Greek island Ios-best time of my life. Studying 1 year in Australia - amazing! 3 months backpacking through Asia - great experience.

Teach, Learn, Share

I would like to teach foreigners about Czech and Slovak culture and cuisine. Show them Czech/Slovak fun time:) I would like to learn to speak more languages and find out more about other cultures. I would like to share my travelling experience and some tips and advice
