ABOUT ME

Who are we?

Liv (6), my oldest daughter. She is wise, beautiful, playfull, entertaining, creative, sensitive and somewhat a thinker. She loves to travel.

Wencke (4), my youngest daughter. She is a laugh, charming and very empathic. Her hands are healing.

Me, Maja, (40) A traveller... that's me. I can't live without it. My traveling has been slow for some time though, because I have two small children. They are not quit ready for the big trips yet....
So I am waiting... ;-)

My biggest (work)dream is to work in a travel agency and help other people plan their trips. And then maybe they'll drag me along ;-)

I write; articles for magazines and a book about...traveling...surprise ;-)

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I want to keep an open mind and heart. And I want to be able to give the best of myself and my world to other travellers.
For now I want to help other travellers finding there way round on Funen; esp. in the south. To show they off the beaten track.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Before being a member here I lived with families in Provence, France, while studying French.
I also lived with an Indian family in Guatemala; a once in a lifetime experience ;-)

我做过的一件不可思议的事情

Sold my apartment, saved every cent I could, bought a car in Sydney and traveled all over Australia. Same trip took me to New Zealand, Malaysia, Singapore and Thailand.
I was gone for 10 months and I loved every second of it!!

Oh yes...and becoming a mum ;-)
