I'm a mother of 6 year old twins, a mover, and an academic/writer. I have 2 lovely dogs, 2 old cats, and some fish. I love people, good wine, cheese and olives, and good conversation. I also love music and dancing!

I live in Toronto with my family of 4, and a friend. We try to enjoy life, while applying ourselves to it, and also while relaxing with a bad movie. ( I have terrible taste in movies!)

I travel on my own to workshops as I train to be an instructor in moving mediation practice. This keeps me busy during the days while I'm away, and very sore and tired at night. I love it though--it keeps me balanced faced with the demands of a loud and busy life.

I love meeting new people, whether traveling or not. I'm an extrovert. We love having people from other places stay in our house because it is like traveling from home. It's a great way to connect with people.

I'm couchsurfing because a friend who is currently staying with us put me on to it as a great way to travel. She did it for a month in Toronto before coming to stay with us, and it seems like a great idea.
