ABOUT ME

My name is María José, everyone calls me Majo (is shorter and easier right?), I'm 20 years old, I'm almost finishing my degree in Organizational Psycology which have me so excited!!!

I have one sister, she is the older one, and now she's living in the beautiful Cancún, oh she is suffering so much... jajaj.

Right now I'm living with my parents, but don't worry they are really nice!! ;)

By myself I can say that I'm a friendly, peaceful and positive person, I love to met new people, to hang out with my friends, I'm really easy going, I'm not good with the fights and all that drama stuff... all the simple things make me truly happy! and I love sense of humor... I don't know what more can I say, but I guarantee you that I can be a very nice guest and host!!

My plans now that I'm ending my degree, is to travel,get to know new people,new places, different cultures, taste different food, and just have a bunch of new experiences to tell and share!!!

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I'm new in this community, I have never upload a profile before, besides facebook of course jajaj,and what motivated me to be a member was that all my life I been living in the same city, with the same people, and the same routine, and now I want to experience new adventures, and i guess this is the a great step to start.

Also I must said that my cousin who is living in Madrid, Spain, was the one who recommend me this website, he had use it and he told me that it was a fantastic experience!!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I had the best experience ever!!

I have been the host of 2 girls, and it was great, they came for US and we have so much fun together! They can practiced their spanish and I can practiced my english, we shared lots of stories and culture.

Interesses

Met new people and places, to see the world through different eyes!

Learn different living styles from mine, and different personal philosophies..

Learn different languages and improve my English.

I'm so into the Pshychology, so any topic related interest me a lot!

Músicas, Filmes e Livros

I love movies!! especially the drama, comedy and mystery genre, but the truth is that I enjoy any kind.

About music, I love all of it, well the heavy metal is not that into me... I prefer the pop, R&B, pop rock, ballads, but in general I can appreciate any type.

About books, I love to read but I also have to accept that I hardly spend time in the reading :(, the authors I have read and I still remember are: Stieg Larsson, Paulo Cohelo, Torcuato Luca de Tena, Laura Esquivel,Ángeles Mastreta, J.K. Rowling...etc.

Uma Coisa Incrível que Eu Fiz

I traveled with 7 friends to a far town of Querétaro called "Soyatal" and spent one week in this place that has just one chapel, like 5 small houses without any luxury or home appliances, any bathrooms, any beds, any store, where the people is really humble, and even this they always fed us very well and taught me the greatness of simplicity, it was the best trip I have ever made! a lot of learnings...

I have seen the most spectacular sunset in Cancún, and also another great one in Ixtapa.

And also one night in my garden I saw a shooting star it was super magical...

I can teach the Spanish and English language, I can teach about the México's histoy, our traditions,I can show you our beautiful places, and our best food.

I can learn anything you want me to teach, I'm open to any useful learning, maybe some tips about how to travel, how can I take the subway, which places I must visit, which activities can I do while I'm travelling... etc.

And I can share a great company, a great attitude, good ears when you needed, and incredible places.
