I'm Majo, I have a degree in Dance, currently working online with international jazz musicians and also coordinating a network of music professionals in Latin America. Also, I am a pilates and barre instructor. I love to read, I accept recommendations of authors from your country, I like to buy books from authors from the countries I visit. I enjoy knitting, gardening, drinking good coffees and eating good food. I love cats and dogs.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I am couchsurfing because I came to visit my brother in Germany, and I want to take advantage of the trip to get to know Europe, discover special corners of the cities. I love couchsurfing because I can connect with locals and visit non-touristy places.

One of my favorite books is “Esta herida llena de peces” by Lorena Salazar Masso, a Colombian author I discovered on my trip to Colombia.

One of my favorite Mexican authors is Elena Garro, you should read “Semana de colores”.

Obviously I love Harry Potter.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I just adopted a kitten (or should I say she adopted me) named Simona, she is an orange kitten and therefore a little bit crazy haha.

We can have great talks about many things, books, our cultures, and I can also teach them how to dance cumbia.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I will take some sweets and things from Mexico on my trip, I will love to know your favorite places in your city, a cafe, a bookstore, a spot to relax. We can do a pilates mat class together (if time and energy permit).
