ABOUT ME

I was born and raised in Alaska. I love reading and writing, hiking and being outdoors. I enjoy traveling to meet new people- I have found so much beauty and kindness in people so different from myself, people who don't know me and owe me nothing and yet are willing to open themselves up to me.

PHILOSOPHY

I have thought a lot about this one and the one thing which I think binds most religions and philosophies together is the old golden rule that my mom always gave to me with apple slices: Do unto others as you would have them do unto you

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I stayed with a lovely couple in the south of France. We cooked dinners, did Tai Chi...talked about everything. It was such a good experience that I want to do it again!

Couch surfed while driving across the states; hosted for a time in MS
