Overview
About Me
Hi! I'm Mako 🌈 – a curious, and open-minded human based in Tbilisi, Georgia. I run a small wine bar in the heart of the city, where I love connecting with locals and travelers over a glass of wine and good conversation. Sagittarius sun, moon and Aquarius rising (if this helps).
With a background in hospitality, project management, and a strong passion for people, I enjoy creating community events where stories and experiences are shared. I’m the kind of person who always ends up organizing things(I'm a planner in my friend group)—events, road trips, dinner parties—but I also love going with the flow and seeing where life takes me.

What I Can Share with Hosts/Guests
If you're visiting Tbilisi, I can give you the insider scoop on natural wines, cozy cafes, and hidden spots. If I'm traveling, I bring warm energy, and happy-to-help hands for cooking, cleaning, or co-creating a good vibe.
Let’s connect, share our stories and learn from each other. 🌈
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
TBH I don't always do couchsurfing, but sometimes you just need a good human experience with real people, real connection. Especially now, when those things are becoming very rare. sometimes the most memorable part of a trip isn’t a landmark—it’s sharing tea in someone’s kitchen, getting lost with a local, or staying up late talking about life. That’s what I’m here for.

Music, Movies, and Books
My music taste is very eclectic. I can enjoy listening very mainstream pop music as well as niche experimental artists. So it's mostly up to the situation and mood.
With books lately I've been reading female authors mostly, hard to say favorite but mostly I love reading Japanese, Scandinavian and Latin American literature.
With movies I'm not picky, but my favorite genres are crime and mystery.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I run a cozy wine bar with best friend, and think that it's quite amazing.
Teach, Learn, Share
Teach
I can teach you about Georgian wines (or natural wines in general!), and how to taste like a pro(in general), or even how to organize a cozy gathering. I’ve worked in hospitality for years, so I can also share tips on creating welcoming spaces.
Learn
I love learning about other cultures and ways of living. I’m especially interested in current political and social issues, and how they impact local communities. Teach anything that opens up new perspectives, or your favorite saying in your language, or how your city makes you feel.
Share
Good conversations maybe with new perspectives, playlists, stories from Tbilisi, and a sense of humor.
I believe sharing doesn’t have to be big—it can be a life hack to survive, power walk, a recipe, or a late-night heart-to-heart.
What I Can Share with Hosts
Local tips and guided wine tasting if you ever plan to visit Tbilisi.

I love cooking, so I can make you a nutritious breakfast.
Above all, I’m happy to contribute to a warm, relaxed vibe and help out around the house however I can.
