ABOUT ME

I'm originally a small town, farm girl from Iowa (and am still that at heart). I grew up between Iowa, Florida, Georgia, and Wisconsin. My view of the world is diverse, and I love understanding how other cultures and societies work. I love discussing human interaction and why we do the things we do. I'm not so much into pop culture/media thing, but I like celeb gossip just as much as the next person. I'm not a huge drinker, but like a nice relaxing beer with friends when I get home from work or a couple on the weekend. I would like to get more into outdoor sports. I currently live in a prime area for hiking/swimming, so these are going to be two of my favorites for the next couple years. I've always enjoyed volunteering, traveling, and learning languages, so my stint of teaching English is Ukraine uniquely combines the three. I had a corporate job for a couple years before starting this journey and decided I was too young for all that jazz. I'm 25, I don't want to spend my youth working 60 hours a week in a cubicle. Puuuulease....
