Overview
About Me
I'm currently living in Dublin, studying at UCD as an exchange student from Canada. I was born in Montreal, but I grew up in a small town in upstate New York. I am a calm and easygoing person.

Music, Movies, and Books
I like anything from classic sixties rock and roll, to classical, to modern ambient electronic music. Sometimes I just prefer silence.
I couldn't possibly list my favorite films, but my favorite directors would include Stanley Kubrick, Paul Thomas Anderson, Werner Herzog, the Coen Brothers, and most recently Alejandro González Iñárritu (I loved Birdman). I consider the performances of Jim Carrey to have had a profound impact on my life. I also have a particular fondness for prison escape movies, as I find the notion of escape to be romantic.
Books: People of the Deer by Farley Mowat, Half-Breed by Maria Campbell, The Road by Cormac McCarthy, Brave New World by Aldous Huxley, The Alchemist by Paulo Coelho, and Shakespeare.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I came face to face with a black bear once.
I scared it away...
by running away.
