HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

At the moment we can host people at our place in Minsk. We'll be glad to show you our city and to have a great time together! We've got two free rooms and one sofa for two persons. But if you are moer then two, we can find a mattress and a blanket in addition. So you are welcome, friends!)

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Couch-surfing for us is not only a means of travelling and visiting new places, but also one of our aims. That’s why we are especially happy when we get to know new people, we have a walk together, when we learn something new and find good friends!!!

About Pavel: I can write a whole bunch of things here! I like reading, swimming, doing skate-boarding, roller-skating, skating, skiing, riding a bicycle and
sledging))), watching films and listening to music (especially the one that I can play on the guitar afterwards), playing the guitar))), solving brain-twisters, playing board-games, doing crafts from salt dough, cooking (usually making cakes), training on a climbing wall, backpacking (esp. going hiking to the mountains) and, of course, travelling…

About Darya: I'm a passioanate singing and drawing lover, playing the guitar as well) I can sing all day long!!!This is the only activity that inspires me even in the most difficult periods of my life. I have been a member of the choir for 4 years. That was amasing experience full of great trevels and concerts in many countries. Another my passion is watercolor painting! This is such an amasing feelling to create somthing beautiful on a white piece of paper, I love to give my watercolor postcards to my family and friends.

Pavel: Speaking about music, I mostly like Russian and Belarusian rock-bands and bards.

Darya: I love different kind of music, anything that is not vulgar, but something, that can make me touch the sky. In my playlist you can fing many old hardrock and rock-'n'-roll songs by Scorpions, ACDC, Guns And Roses and so on. Many not so old ones by Three days Grace, Evanescence, Red, Skillet, The Rasmus. I also listen to pop divas like Witney Huston, Adel and many others. As for literature, its more often European, Russian and Belarusian classics. My favourites for now are Flober, Remarque, Clive Staples Lewis, Dostoevsky, Karatkevich, Vasil Bykov. Talking about movies I always think about the most thoughtful ones, which can flip your worldview upsidedown. In my case it was August Rush, the Soul, Konstantin, Equilibrium and others.
