Interests

I enjoy making the most out of every moment. Currently, I am studying geology at the University of Utah, but my real interest are in botany. I love the simple things in life like bird watching and raising Bonsai trees or a nice afternoon of people watching in the city and challenging friends to handstand competitions in the park.

Music, Movies, and Books

Not too big on movies or tv, but try to keep up with Jon Stewart, The Colbert Report, and South Park. Music - Blues, Rock, and anything good. Books - Ishmael, Siddhartha, and The Prophet.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I was invited by The Flaming Lips to dress up as Dorothy and dance on stage for the entire show. I could see the passion the whole band put into every note, sound, beat and look out into a crowd of thousands dancing along just blissfully as we were on stage. It was at that moment the I understood why we need music.

Teach, Learn, Share

I have been a vegetarian for 9 years and love to cook. If nutrition/diet/vegetarianism/veganism is of interest to you, I love to talk about food. But I am not a percher. You do not have to be vegetarian or have any desire to be one. I just think food is important.
