ABOUT ME

I'm a twenty-four year guy traveling Europe for the summer. I'm getting a little sick of crowded hostels and I would love to connect with more people who actually live in the cities I'm visiting. It's so easy to find yourself mostly talking to other travelers when you're abroad. I'd love to get off the main traveler's path a little.

I like to read, I watch a lot of movies, sometimes I sing in a choir, sometimes I play on a frisbee team, I go to a fair amount of pub trivia...

Music, Movies, and Books

I'm a big book-reader,especially Spanish and Latin American lit. Love me some Borges, Cortázar, Garcia Marquez, Rulfo, Fuentes (of course Cervantes)...

Also a big movie fan. Coen Bros., Lynch, Kronenberg, Almódovar, off the top of my head. Also older stuff, film noir, Hitchcock, Bergman. Also most of the new Marvel comics movies.

I love music but I'm not at all expert. I tend to like early hip-hop and jazz but I'll listen to about anything.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I took ayahuasca as part of a spiritual cleansing with a Shaman in Ecuador. I know, it sounds cheesy. And it was, a little. But it had a pretty profound effect on me.
