Eclectic taste...jazz, blues, opera...Dave Bowie, Leftfield, Bjork, Rolling Stones, Neil Young...Werner Herzog...particlularly Fitzcarraldo and Aguirre The Wrath of God Books...I like to try and read as widely as possible..my favourite ....Victor Hugo , love Thomas Hardy, Shakespeare, Tolstoy, Dickens, also books like Restraint of Beasts ... a really good laugh...Also very much enjoy reading Joseph Conrad. I look for books where people really have something to say ...whether serious, satirical or downright funny...

Visiting Antarctica....
Solo trek to Everest base camp in the middle of winter..
Backpacking across the Pyrenees for 50 days from the Atlantic to the Med.
Seeing Pavarotti perform in Hyde Park in London..
Kathmandu to Lhasa overland...
