I'm on a mission to travel with the wind and see what experiences I can find. Recent graduate from UW with a degree in Oceanography. Hoping to eventually share my love for the planet by being an environmental science educator, perhaps with film. But before I can honestly teach people about the world, I need to learn more about it! So I saved up all the money I could for one summer and am now spending my first few months as a graduate traveling and learning, learning, learning!

My current dance jam is Back Pocket by Vulfpeck! Also digging Toro y Moi's new album. Currently reading Zen and The Art of Motorcycle Maintenance (recommended by my mentor for post graduation reflection/motivation). I love all films, watching, thinking, dissecting all shots and stories.

For my senior thesis in college I built an experimental platform for monitoring fine scale nearshore ecosystem change, equipped with an underwater 360-degree camera and a surface level camera. The design and build process of creating this piece of ocean technology was indeed amazing, as it spurred many ideas and questions for future learning/development!
