Maleakhi here! I recently moved back to my home city of Makassar after living in Yogyakarta for the past 5 years. I was living and going to University there, but recently made the decision to move back to Makassar to pursuit some job opportunities here.
I am open-minded individual, accepting of all people and all lifestyles. I am active in the LGBTQI community and have a passion for equality movements, including feminism campaigns.
I am excited to be back here in Makassar and would like to bring a fresh new progressive perspective to Makassar city.
I am also an artist and would love to start making pieces here in town, or collaborating with others in new and upcoming art spaces.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I am a traveler myself, and would love to help fellow travelers experience the REAL Makassar city. I think there is so much more to this city then many travelers realize. I think you will have a much better perspective of Makassar with a local eye.
I enjoy meeting travelers, exchanging information, stories and having a few drinks at the beach for sunset.
There are many good places to explore not only in the city but surrounding areas. My friends and I like to go on weekend getaways and would be happy to invite you as well.

Music, Movies, and Books

i basically enjoy every instrument and all music. I'm more into techno music (which is i can't find in this city but i'm willing to make some techno party in town.) and also i really love the music from the 80's and 90's.
