About Me

Hey, I'm Malhar, currently enjoying life in Dublin having moved from the coastal town of Galway (I'd highly recommend a trip to Galway). I am open-minded and easy-going, with an immense love for travel, and I'm always looking for opportunities to explore new places and meet like-minded people.

I enjoy simple things: I prefer the outdoors to indoors. Love: hiking, sea swimming, road trips, I LOVE COFFEE, whiskey, football (Liverpool FC), mental health, mindfulness, spirituality, and all animals but crazy about dogs, woods, and good food. I'd love to stay at places that are non-touristy, remote, and amidst nature.

P.S. I recently moved to a new place in Ballsbridge, Dublin 4 so not sure how much I will be hosting but you can always ask. I'm always happy to meet up and don't hesitate to reach out if you need help or recommendations.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Meeting good people from all around the world makes me happy and fills me with hope. I admire the simple and beautiful idea of an exchange without money. I'm just putting it out here to ensure like-mindedness : I've met some incredible people through couchsurfing who have gone on to become my friends. I am seeking genuine connections and friends, not just a budget place to sleep.

Interests

I am very active, be it hiking, running, or the gym. I love cooking and even more eating, being lost in nature or walking down a very busy street, as well as sharing a meal, enjoying a glass of whisky or watching a movie/football on my couch.

Music, Movies, and Books

My film and TV tastes are also very diverse and again it all depends on the mood. Big fan of Marvel Movies, Star Wars, and Fight Club! I usually like sitcoms like HIMYM, The Office is my favourite, etc.

Books - anything psychology!, Meditations by Marcus Aurelius, 1984, and the Bible. The book The Midnight Library by Matt Haig significantly changed my thinking.

I am always happy to receive book recommendations.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

●Set my foot on Mount Everest in Nepal
