ABOUT ME

I get anxious if I am in one place for too long. I NEED to travel. Even if it is a day or weekend trip, getting out to another city or country can be so exciting and such a rich experience. I can enjoy myself in a new place by simply walking for hours and hours and looking at the architecture, eating local food, and people watching. I feel it is extremely important to visit and try to understand other cultures. Meeting people from all over the world is never dull either!

PHILOSOPHY

Get as much out of life as possible. Do what makes you happy, even if it's not the most sensible thing, because life isn't worth living if you aren't happy - it's hardly a life at all.
And...you can travel even if you're poor.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I would like to be able to visit other places and stay with people in a sort of "cultural exchange". They could give me some advice and maybe we will all have a good time! Meeting people at my current location is also something of interest. Just going out for a coffee or meal or a tour. At the moment I can't host anyone because I'm an Au Pair and don't really have the rights to. But when I go back to America I certainly will provide that option.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I just joined the network. I have several friends participating in it and recommended I try it out as well. We all have to start somewhere...
