About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Live a life that I can remember, and others leave for a legacy. Live the moments with those I love, for one day will just be a memory. Live so our children can learn, anything is possible. We are only dust, and look at us now.

(Note: if I don't reply right away ...keep trying . It's cause I don't have wifi in water and notifications kill my phone in minutes. If you check our family bnb (Airbnb/Vrbo) and message me- my mom will text or Fb me ( she's your wildcard ).she might be at sea too but keep trying cause I have space and everything. Behind in film , communications website , translate words and art project- if you know web , film and can help pat a toddlers back so I free hands...we'll end up with roommates from around the world and out the door again--I.e. I'll have free hands and not distracted by projects.

ABOUT ME

Me? you tell me about me. So far this is what i learned. Some people say Im weird, love learning, animated, enthusastic, optimistic, motivating, bubbly, refreshing, creative, highly intuitive, adventurous, love learning, athletic, crazy, up for anything and well experienced with life of an old man. HAHA! My 5 mentors have figured me out and agree with the acquaintances and family. For others, when they think they have figured me out, they learn something new. The diarreah that spews out of my mouth is from actual experiences. No joke! Tell you the truth , theres lots of jokes and sarcasm... if im not sleeping from an outdoor exploration or zonked from a quiet nature photography trip. Not to mention i have a heart condition and what the doctors hope - clear of cancer. NO JOKE! i beat cancer with my cancerous spirit.

[This part is Updated]
My child ,sonS ( I have two now- not total anchors, one is kinda your host not joking), they say he's a well behaved outgoing boy. I agree but you should see for yourself. Children grow and change and he's s clever one. My preemie is in NICU at the hospital (is home) currently with brain hemmorrhage stage 4 (called ivh4, but now he has some brain yay). We might get a guide dog (help us pray we get one cause those pups are awesome), we don't know where our awesome silent psychic cat went home she comes back or didn't pass on .

Sometimes my partner or my siblings are around and usually reasons I get couchsurfers, we are home on family vacation so we can take guests in at the beach house. Hawaiians lost estates for being too kind and forgiving to leasers and political issues like TTP and international law being unrecognized, but couchsurfing is like old hawaii if there is pono "respect in everything" within the home and land.

PHILOSOPHY

"dont judge others or places, you'll never find the peace your looking for.""you live on a blue canoe, care for it, enjoy it, eat and drink a little. live a little aloha.""Ua Mau Ke Ia o Ka 'Aina Ka I Ka Pono. A mau a mau"

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I'm goin to ask alot of questions, and of course answer many. I love surfing, stretching, more stretching, and way more stretching so that everything else doesnt kill me like hiking, cliff jumpng, jumping anything, dirt bike ride, horseback, scuba, climbing and squeezing through lil things (ask and youll be surprised). I of course , and as independant and lonestar traveler as i can be...am domesticated. I'm hawaiian asian! cleanliness , especially after traveling chaos...kicks in (especially in the middle of drinking.)

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I was raised in hawaii. Thats couch surfing hurricane haven. You surf, you sleep on family couch. You camp, you can sleep on almost anything - sand, dirt, under a single tarp and its raining...in the forest at 50 degrees Fahrenheit. I've been couch surfing since, well my mother said since my father and she had me. I was born in a year of Hurricane Iwa and few tsunamis, and Hurricane Iniki; then it was high school futbol and tailgate beach parties. How i have great hosting etiquit...the women in my family. THANK GOD! Paina (luau/feasts/bbq) women run the home so that every belly is filled and provisions for an open door of chaos. I couch surf or camp every three months to nurture that adventure and versatile adaptation to personalities.

Interests

Im up for almost anything. I love my friends for their differences. I don't expect anything from them, if not we would be all the same. But I do expect communication, respect and teamwork that works all ways. Oh my dear friends, the things they get me into, the things i feel we can accomplish, the places i volunteer. It's always interesting to people watch. Then do it...whatever it may be. Other than that i love spontanianity, randomness, the road less traveled out of the locale comfort zone, alchemy, photography, diy, outdoor activities, trucks, ocean, filming aka story telling (remind me to shoot you an email of our trip), sailing, dancing, laughing, conquering my fears when i get them for no apparent reason, and the occasional adrenaline rush that follows it. SUCCESS. Read and watched game of thrones.

Music, Movies, and Books

right now im playing a game "the big bang theory." reruns. game of thrones- done. pau. finis(waiting on the next 2 books, and watched all the shows.) comics, transformers, archer, diy shows, discovery and national geographic, stage comedy, indiana jones and lora croft. Youtube of course what am I an idiot. i love learning , i still go through my textbooks to review.pidgin to the max paperback to remind me of my roots. alot more books and shows if i havent read them over and over to memorize them.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Survive. ( newly added this 2015 year...heart surgery and another complicated pregnancy.)Near death, multiple car crash (it wasnt me , i'm the passenger); 2 hurricanes; 3 tsunamis; lost at sea; lost in a forest; 2 ectopic pregnancy & loss 70% of my own rare blood (internal bleeding and rupture...got yelled at); cancer- hopefully; raising a child as a single mom- being a career- minded, care -free, embrased self as a single travel independent woman ...motherhood is a whole new realm (men love your lady cause you really rocked her world that she gave up for about 5 years is long time). As for my choices...DT LA with the homeless, just to see. Sky jumping in Vegas, 2 isle in Hawaii, Puerto Rico. Volcano. Been on 8 different indigenous pacific canoes; one 3 of them i was pregant...big no no for the culture. Free climbing high banyan trees of a cliff. The Getty. Mauna Kea (aka Mauna OWakea) and Kilauea, big island Hawaii. Underwater 80 feet- whales, sharks, turtles, rays, mantas, etc etc. Hunting for my own food- boars, goats, roast duck, chasing chickens (its amazing the work out you get of a wild one.)Napali Coast & Waimea Canyon- my next door neighbor.

Teach, Learn, Share

what do you want to learn? cooking, farming, surfing, dancing , pregnancy ( i have 1 keiki/kid,and 5 nakamalii /god children)...stuff you can do on an island/countryside. i like to fix and build things and hopefully not take it apart. i also get super organized. Renaissance woman comes with the territory of self -sustaining in disasters and living on rock in the middle of the pacific. if you want it, learn it, so you can get it...or fly to it.

What I Can Share with Hosts

Great Cook, ocd clean , sail deck crew, organize events, computer graphics, watch kids ( I home school my kid- give you one hour and you'll want my kid...and no you can't he's mine...technically Tim shares him too). Great intellectual convo and outdoor activities companion. My bf says usually I'm up for anything, and if I have my son( him too if I know he can handle it.)
