Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I have been couchsurfing for a while, but not through the website; I ping up acquaintances or friend of a friend and work out arrangement. As I travel more and more, I would need more 'local connection,' so I finally decided to join CS.org

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Haven't hosted, but surfed a couple times. So far I've met a few incredible people, and looking forward to meet more!

Interests

No particular order: fedoras, adrenaline rush, comics, friends' smiles, craft beers, roasted coffee aroma, brunch, Doctor Who, novelty t-shirts, 'Lorelei' my bicycle, IMAX movies, and that sensation of first bite into a PB and J sandwich. Beer tasting friends "Cards Against Humanity". Costume parties. (motor-)cycling. Crazy recipes in the kitchen. Food challenges. Run my dogs until they are tired. Impromptu karaoke to Pharrell's "Happy," with dance.

I have the biggest blu-ray/DVD/VHS collection anyone I know (yes, I did say VHS. I'm sure hipster culture would bring it back somehow.)

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

After November trip to Cozumel, I can proudly wear my badge (and self-designed tattoo) as an IRONMAN

I have extreme case of acrophobia, but I went skydiving once
