IMPORTANT: I CURRENTLY LIVE IN BOGOTA, COLOMBIA

I read the "all about you" heading just to the left and now I feel intimidated... ALL about me? Let's meet and if we learn SOMETHING about each other, it'll be worth our while.

PHILOSOPHY

I believe that you always get what you give, so I try to give as much as I can and not get discouraged when what I get is not that good... I believe it's important to listen to all the things our intuition tries to tell us instead of doing what's "appropriate" or "normal". And I believe that everyone has the right to do whatever they want, as long as they are not hurting anyone on their way.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Some of the amazing people I met through CS will forever be in my heart. I've also had my share of CS disappointments - "dead" last minute couch groups, eleventh hour cancellations (when I'd already declined requests from other people), requests ignored... until today, or people who only offer / look for a crash pad. I still think that it's a bril idea though! I believe CS is about gaining and offering insight into a new culture, not only about finding a free place to stay.

Morceaux de musique, films et livres

In films - "The Big Blue" - all times favorite! In music - at the moment it's Joni Mitchell's "Travelogue"; not just for the time being it's Dave Matthews Band and recordings by Il Giardino Armonico. In books - don't force me to name one favorite book!

Une aventure extraordinaire que j'ai vécue

In 2009 I quit my job, packed my backpack, kissed my cat goodbye and went traveling for 9 months. And whilst traveling, I met amazing people I'll never forget, did some unbelievable stuff, saw lots of breathtaking views and had a number of eye-opening experiences.
