Music, Movies, and Books
Tim Burton, Ang Lee, David Lynch, Studio Gibli, Hitchcock and Gus Van Sant are a few of my favorites but in general I love scary movies, animated movies, films that make you cry, films that makes you think and films that makes you feel. I've just seen Slumbdog Millionaire at the theatre and I found it perfectely amazing. Very clever.
I used to work in a bookshop so I do love those books. I actually am more fascinated by the books themselves - the format, the way of communicating and the idea of storytelling - rather than the reading. I do love to read though, to escape into the world of literature and I am especially interested in children books. In the world of children literature Dr Seuss, Maurice Sendak, Sylvia Plath (yes she has made amazing children books!), Barbro Lindgren and Pija Lindenbaum are a few of my idols. But believe it or not - I do read books for adults as well. Right now I really enjoy reading poetry (which is always hard to say without sounding pretentious) - Bruno K Öjer.
