Hello! I am 22 years old and from Myrtle Beach, South Carolina. I am currently finishing up a Master's Degree in special education, and I will soon begin my first year teaching middle school special education. While I am just beginning to travel, I have an unquenchable curiosity about the world and want to explore as much of it as possible! In my spare time, I enjoy reading, learning new things, doing yoga, going to the beach, hiking, and riding bikes. I will be traveling with my boyfriend of 6 years, Tanner. Tanner is also 22 and from the Myrtle Beach area. He works in the golf industry at a local golf course. He is an avid golfer and surfer with his own business shaping custom surfboards. We have a sweet dog named Zella that we consider to be our first born child. Unfortunately, she will not be joining us on our travels, but maybe one day! We took our first trip together last summer traveling down the west coast from Vancouver Canada to Portland, Oregon. That trip left us saving pennies and itching for our next trip! Since we are both still students, we have not been able to travel as frequently as we would have liked due to time and money. However, now that we are exiting this season of our lives, we are looking forward to more freedom for new adventures and exploring other parts of this great big world!

I have been wanting to travel for quite some time now, but have not been able to because of time and money. I will soon be finished with school, but lack of money is still an issue. I do not want to let this hold me back from traveling during some of the best years of my life. I decided to try out Couchsurfing so that I can start traveling even with my limited income!
