CURRENT MISSION

My mission is to take advantage of every opportunity that I can, and to learn from each of the fascinating people I meet along the way.

More specifically, my best friend from college and I are about to head to West to spend the summer in Alaska...and to be gloriously unproductive members of society.

Originally from Chicago, but I've spent the last two years working in Boston. Before that, I was in Munich for a year and Hamburg 6 months.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Unfortunately, I have no way of hosting surfers currently. However, I have attended a few CS events in the past and loved the people I met.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have only surfed once, but it was a fantastic experience. I cannot wait to meet more amazing, open and friendly people.

Movies - Jaws, Good Will Hunting, M, It's a Wonderful Life, His Girl Friday
Books - The Name of the Wind, Treat Us Like Dogs and We Will Become Men, and (weirdly) a ton of nonfiction on contemporary global affairs, which I swear is far more entertaining than it sounds.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

About a week ago (6/18/15), I quit my job 30 seconds after I was offered a promotion.
I'm still not sure if that was amazing or just amazingly stupid, but I'm looking forward to the summer in Alaska to figure it out.
