Hi, couchsurfers! I'm Mallory. I am currently studying Public Health at Montana State University in Bozeman Montana. I am incredibly passionate about global health, social justice, responsible traveling, and all things nature! Growing up in Montana I have developed a love for the mountains. As such, I spend heaps of time hiking and getting outside as much as possible.

I spent my senior year of high school as an exchange student in Bandung, Indonesia where I lived with a local family and attended local high school. Following that year, I spent an additional year in Sydney Australia where I worked as an au-pair for the most wonderful family.

I have traveled all over South East Asia, Europe, Australia, and the Western U.S. My husband and I are currently traveling through Morocco, Portugal, and England!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I so love the Couchsurfing community. I met up with several couchsurfers for hangouts while in Indonesia and Australia, and am still in contact with these folks today!

As my husband and I are traveling through Morocco, we are hoping to utilize Couchsurfing more. It is such a beautiful community and it is truly the best way to get to know a place.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Last spring I participated in the RedBull Can You Make It challenge. Myself and two of my best friends raced from Berlin to Paris with no money, no phones, only RedBull as currency! I've also played amongst elephants, built a school in rural Indonesia, mastered traditional Jaipiong dance and participated in Ramadan with my Indonesian host family!
